On the afternoon of May 16, 2019, the China Rare Earth Association held the inaugural meeting of the Rare Earth Crystals Professional Committee of the China Rare Earth Association at the Beijing Wuliangye Dragon Claw Tree Hotel. The Secretary General of Niu Jing Kao read out the "Letter on Approving the Rare Earth Crystals Professional Committee of China Rare Earth Association" and the Letter on Approving the Establishment of the Rare Earth Crystal Professional Committee and the Head of the Branch of the China Rare Earth Association. According to the regulations of the Association, after the expert recommendation and the Standing Council deliberation, the researcher Xue Dongfeng was appointed as the chairman of the Rare Earth Crystal Professional Committee of the China Rare Earth Association, researcher Ren Guohao, researcher Teng Bing, researcher of Hangzhou University, Professor Xu Jiayue as the deputy director, and researcher Zhang Fangfang as the secretary.
